Vegetarian or Vegan - Similarities and Differences

The two diets, vegetarian and vegan, are quite similar in nature but also have some notable differences.  Vegetarian recipes typically consist of plant-based ingredients like grains, fruits, vegetables, legumes and nuts.  On the other hand, vegan recipes eliminate all animal products – including dairy and eggs. Without access to these nutrition sources, it can be more challenging to create a balanced meal plan as a vegan dieter. However, many substitutes can be made which make delicious dishes while still being mindful of dietary restrictions. The primary difference between vegetarian and vegan recipes is the lack of animal-based ingredients.  Vegetarians may include dairy and eggs in their meal, while vegans typically do not.  Vegetarian diets are often easier to follow as some ingredients such as cheese and honey can serve as "filler" foods for those who find it difficult to get enough nutrients from a restrictive diet.  Additionally, vegetarians are more likely to find
