Parsley seed extract has been used as a laxative. Some herbs like curry, have an effect on psychological and cognitive function. Ginseng may have potential positive effects on glycaemia, and ginger may help for arthritic knee pain and treatment of nausea and vomiting. It is said that taking half to one clove of garlic a day may lower cholesterol to up to 9 percent in addition to reducing blood pressure by approximately 5.5 percent.
